Terms and Conditions: Hideous Records Sound Burger Giveaway
1. Promoter
The promoter is Hideous Records (ABN: 79651774558), located at 538 Oxley Ave, Redcliffe, Queensland 4020.
2. Eligibility
- Entry is open to Queensland residents of all ages.
- Entrants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to enter.
- Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. Promotional Period
- The promotion commences at 9:00 AM AEST on Saturday, 8 August 2026.
- The promotion closes at 5:00 PM AEST on Monday, 17 August 2026.
4. How to Enter
- Entry is free with qualifying in-store transactions during the Promotional Period.
- Customers will receive one (1) entry ticket for every $50 spent in a single transaction (e.g., spend $50 for 1 entry, spend $100 for 2 entries, spend $150 for 3 entries, etc.). [1]
- The customer must fill out their full name, phone number, and email address on the entry form and place it into the entry box provided in-store.
5. The Prize
- The prize is one (1) Audio-Technica Sound Burger Portable Turntable (Model: AT-SB727).
- The prize is valued at $429.00 AUD.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
6. The Draw & Notification
- The winner will be determined by a random barrel draw at the Promoter’s shop address.
- The draw will take place at 4:00 PM AEST on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
- The winner does not need to be present at the draw to win.
- The winner will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days of the draw.
- The winner’s name will be published on the Promoter’s social media pages on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
7. Prize Claim & Unclaimed Prize Draw
- The winner must collect the prize from the Promoter's shop address within three (3) months of being notified.
- If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize must be claimed by, or with the written consent of, the winner’s parent or legal guardian. Photo ID will be required upon collection.
- If the prize remains unclaimed after three months, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at the same location on Wednesday, 18 November 2026 at 4:00 PM AEST.
8. Record Keeping
- As required by Queensland trade promotion law, the Promoter will securely retain all entry tickets, financial logs, and competition records relating to this promotion for a period of five (5) years.
